The idea of me was conceived in 2019.
But I wasn’t painted until earlier this year.
That makes me roughly 4 years old.
And to be honest,
that isn’t even that old for an artwork?
I’m a simple painting.
I just wanna go home after a long day at work.
Because I’m at that point in my life
where life should treat me a little less unfairly.
Times were hard, friends are few.
I need some sleep.

I always wondered…
what it would feel like to be something else than a painting.
What it would feel like to be a text.
A “think piece”
A poem
A well researched scientific paper, LOL
Actually I was never able to develop a vision of what I would be like as a poem.
Visually I never considered myself to be a particular beautiful painting.
Sometimes you see artworks that are ugly, but still have an amazing career.
Sorry I’m overwhelmed again.
I've been out here for too long already.
Don’t judge me.

And I did.

I never agreed to exist for eternity.
I was literally just an idea and now I exist.
I need a friend with no mercy.
A cloth drenched in turpentine.
Bring me home.
